You don't need a designer or special software. Send the best file you have, and we check every design before it's engraved. If something won't hold up, we fix it or tell you on your proof, before it costs you a stamp.

Files we accept

• Best: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF (vector). Lines stay perfectly sharp at any size.
• Also fine: PNG or JPG at least 300 ppi at the stamp size. For a 2" stamp, that's at least 600 pixels across.
• Phone photos: fine for signatures and hand-drawn marks. Shoot straight down, in daylight, with the drawing filling the frame.

Black and white only

A stamp prints one color, so your design becomes solid black and white. Grays, gradients, and soft shadows don't carry over. Send a color logo if that's what you have and we'll convert it, then show you the result on your proof.

Don't mirror it

Send your design the way it should read on paper or leather. We reverse it for engraving.

Size

Pick your stamp size by the longer side of your design. The Scale & Size drawing on each product page shows the real size next to a credit card, so you can see how big it will look. Upload at that size or larger.

Maker's marks need bolder lines because they're pressed, not inked. Anything thinner than these is flagged on your proof with a suggested fix.

Signatures

Sign on plain white paper with a black felt-tip or gel pen, a little larger than you want the stamp. Sign three times and send the one you like best.

Logos with solid areas

Large solid areas can ink unevenly. An outlined version often stamps sharper. Reversed logos (white on solid) work, and we'll tell you on your proof if yours would stamp better another way.

Only send art you can use

Upload only artwork you own or have permission to use. We can't make stamps of other companies' logos, official or government seals, or notary seals you aren't licensed to use.

How proofs work

1. Place your order and upload your file.
2. Within 1 business day, we email a digital proof showing your stamp at its exact size.
3. Check spelling, numbers, and layout. Reply to approve or ask for changes.
4. We engrave, test-stamp, and ship within 3 business days of your approval.
